EVALUATION

To some people the year seems to be over accelerating.

Some people are left wondering and asking "when did we start the new year"

Alas! we are in the last month of the year 2015. 30 days to go.

How have you fared so far in the year?

Don't worry , you are permitted to be the judge in your own matter in this scenario.

But to help your evaluation, there are salient question you must ask and answer by yourself sincerely.

HOW HAVE I USED THE LAST 334 DAYS?

What new things have I learned?

What have I failed to do well?

What new lessons of life have I discovered?

How many of my new year resolutions have I implemented?

who are the new friends I have made?

How has my life influenced people around me?

Answering all these question will help you to plan adequately for the remaining days in the year.

Endeavor to make every moment count, Invest quality time in reading, be a good listener and BE all you are designed to be in December.

Lets go a step higher. YES WE CAN.

DEFINING MOMENTS

In recent months, I have made new friends. And I must confess they are amazing beings. So I would say on the average destiny brought us together.

Last night I was into a brief and concise discussion with one of my new friends and then suddenly and unexpectedly a question popped up while sharing with him my experiences in the past.

It was at that point we were sharing stories of people who have touched our life's in unique and unforgettable ways.

Then my friend asked ;

" WHY DO YOU THINK WE ARE CROSSING PATH AT THIS MOMENT AND STAGE OF OUR LIFE?".

What a question I sighed!

Then at that moment I eloped with joy that yes I have found yet another great friend.

We found our way to answering that moment defining question last night and our friendship moved to another level, and a well defined one I must confess.

Now most times when you make friends, have you ever reasoned why you guys are meeting at that instance?
For what could it have been?

Listen, everybody you will meet in life will have a purpose to fulfill in your life either good or bad. If you fail to find out the purpose the consequences will only come as a surprise.

So my words to you this week is that, don't just mingle, don't just make friends. Find reasons to want to make friends.

AND WHEN YOU FINALLY MAKE NEWS FRIENDS, MAKE SURE YOU BIRTH THOSE DEFINNING MOMENTS OF ASKING "WHY NOW" ?

Those moments might be the necessary push you need to get to the next stage of your life, so you must take conscious effort to deliberately birth them.

ALWAYS ASK WHY??

Lets go a step higher. YES WE CAN.

BEAUTIFUL DAY

No matter how rough yesterday might have been, the ugly events of yesterday are now in the past.

That you slept and woke up this morning full of energy and still has breath in your nostrils means the creator has given you yet another golden chance.

Its a Golden chance for survival,
A Golden chance to correct yesterdays errors and flaws,

A Golden chance to live a better life,

A Golden chance to contribute positively once's again to human existence,

A Golden chance to fulfill all of your life's aspiration and desires,

A Golden chance to be all you are designed to BE!

So let go of yesterday in your subconscious , only keep the valid lessons it has taught you.

Face today with a renewed hope and confidence.

Face today with the consciousness of how beautiful you want it to be.

Today is just another better day, today will be yet another glorious day. But it will come with its challenges too. Be prepared and stay positive because today is just another beautiful day.

GO LIVE TODAY BEAUTIFULLY .

Lets go a step higher. YES WE CAN.

BABY FACTORY

The last three decades have seen a lot of more baby factories than mothers. NO APOLOGIES.

The thugs on the street used for political violence around the globe are born by some baby factories and not mothers.
This piece wont be of many lines, but will be filled with my opinion on this abnormal phenomenal incidence of baby factories.

Baby factories are illegal and when discovered, people involved are dealt with by the law. But then baby factories have evolved and moved from its familiar form to a more civil form and what has now metamorphosed into a societal norm.

Mothers are priceless jewels. They build any community, Nations, and home. Girls grow into ladies and then someday becomes a woman.
She can at puberty then choose on which side to be, Either a baby factory or a mother.

I have seen circumstance where parents father and mother gives birth to kids they cannot motivate , inspire or even build a successful life plan for. These people who give birth to kids without the aforementioned abilities are the 21st century baby factories.

And this incidence is now becoming a norm in the last three decades.

The other day I was coming home from work, and just on the express road, around a corner of the road, I saw three kids. The oldest of them can only be five (5) years old and the least about three (3) years old hawking.

Then I began to question myself, who gave birth to all these kids?
WHO ? WHO? WHO?

In 2013, Records has it that about 10.5 million kids are out of school in Nigeria. Who on earth gave birth to all this kids?

It got more scary when I read from a publication recently that about 60,000 births are expected in Nigeria's Internally displaced peoples camp, a camp that boast of about 3.3 million people with about 90% of whose population are women and children.

And when you walk around some big markets and motor parks on our streets today, you will observe that the population of kids selling sachet water, sweets and other things are really high.

Now to the gentle ladies and Men's of my generation, who are exposed to the world without opening the front door, we need mothers and fathers.

Let all baby factories go to hell!

There are lots of responsibilities ahead of us, we need to build Nigeria,

Africa is ours to build.

We must seek to make this world that we have borrowed from generations unborn a much better place.

No baby factory should have a place in our generation.

We need mothers and fathers who will only give birth to kids they have plans for,

We need fathers and mothers who will only give birth to kids they can inspire to greatness,

My generation need fathers and mothers who will not be mean to their kids on the grounds of their past experiences,

My generation needs fathers and mothers who will have the courage to motivate there kids when they fill like giving up,

We need fathers and mothers who will will allow there kids chase there dreams even when its video games they are passionate about,

My generation needs fathers and mothers who will challenge the status quo,

My generation needs to fix the messes of the past decades,

Another set of BABY FACTORIES WILL ONLY WORSEN THE STATUS QUO.

But what I then suggest to curb this menace is fairly outlandish , and here is it; maybe it is time for Africa and Nigeria to review and put in modalities to borrow the one-child policy from china.

The world needs more fathers and mothers, not just another set of BABY FACTORIES .

Lets go a step higher. YES WE CAN.

BEHIND THE SCENE

Having an hero or a mentor is fantastic. In fact I try as much as possible to encourage people who don't have one to do so.

But critical attention has to be paid to high incidence of hero worship.

When we have hero's and mentors, their influence is always enormous on us as individuals.

We tend to eat the same way they do,
Walk the same way they walk.
Talk the same way they talk and do virtually everything they do.

Those things that they do that we cannot do are the things that goes on in the back stage of their life. Those things are tagged "personal life".

While I do not question the ideology of the "personal life", I must be fast to state clearly that majority of those things labeled "personal life" are where critical life lessons reside.

And guess what ? Only few of our hero's and mentors have the gut to share them with us.

A friend of mine once attended a conference where one the guest speakers happens to be an hero from afar of his.

To my friends utter surprise, the guest speaker only talked about the upstage events of his life , which is full of glamour and all the cameras.

The troubles and travails of our hero's we really don't get to know. We just hear stuffs like "I came from an humble background and I am able to scale through the huddles of life and here am I today".

Sometimes we try to question them and hear how they overcame those hurdles of life. But those are the behind the scene events we really don't get to hear about.

But the fact remains those events occur.

Its not wrong that they choose not to share the back stage events of there life, Its just that some critical lessons of life are missed by thousands of their fans and men tees.

Here is the point: Don't always assume that everything you gain access to know about your hero's and mentors is all to them.
Never assume that everything is going on perfectly for them. ( you may just be wrong).

The back stage events, we really don't get to know.
All we just want to be is like them.

DEAR FRIENDS WHILE KEEPING YOUR ASPIRATIONS HIGH, AND HOPING TO BE LIKE YOUR SUPER HERO, BE PREPARED FOR SOME STERN LIFE REALITIES THAT THEY WOULD NOT HAVE SHARED WITH YOU EARLIER.

ITS NOT ALWAYS SMOOTH AS IT SEEMS, BUT THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY AROUND EVERY OBSTACLE.

KEEP YOUR HOPES HIGH AND ALSO BE SMARTLY PREPARED, That way those realities will not surprise you.

Lets go a step higher. YES WE CAN.
