On Sunday after church, I came back late, and was
obviously very hungry cum tired.
I saw my neighbor frying plantain and I begged to
partake of the fried something (lols) to be supported with a bowl of garri.
While making out with this, a friend walked in
and jokingly said;
"Bro Biyi, she e ma mu garri ni, eyin ti mo
mo Lori Facebook yato si eyin ti mo hun ri o"
"Bro Biyi, do you too drink garri? You that I
see on Facebook is different from the person am seeing o?
Everybody in the room had a great time laughing,
but I just choose to make a point from the aforementioned experience.
One thing about social media that I like is that,
it allows everyone to choose to
either use it or be used by it.
It gives us the opportunity to regulate our own
proceedings.
And always remember, it’s rare for anybody to
display their low
life time’s here on social media.
Everybody wants to upload a picture of where the
smiles on their face is so cute.
So don't ever get carried away with the likes and
comments on your friend’s page on social media, assuming for them that
everything is going very well for them.
It’s a fallacy! Simply a fallacy.
So before you envy that your friend who said he
just got a new job,
Before you are jealous of that your friend who
uploaded a picture in an eatery all smiling,
Before you get envious of the likes and comments
on some else's wall,
Understand those things don't always translate
into money in their account!
When they are slaying up and down, don't
be angry or jealous unnecessarily, the low points of life most times will not
be in the media.
Nobody talks about how they just lost good money
in an investment!
This is the reality of social media life.
So equally enjoy yours too and be as real as you
can.
Who being fake don even #EPP.
Paul Shola Oguntade can I get one
more fried plantain ! (Lols)
Ekaaro o!
Inakuana!
Enjoy your week!
Cheers
