TRAPPED

OPEN LETTER TO MEDIA HOUSES/ PERSONALITIES AND MEDIA USERS

Dear Social media House/ Personality,

It’s very “normal” these days when we go online to read about happenings around the world to see terrible stuffs occurring everywhere from America to Asia down to Africa being reported.

These days when I even try to initiate a conversation with people about current affairs around the globe, the natural tendencies are...
the evil happenings.

But you see, the news are BIAS.

Now I will talk about a case study I am certain of; NIGERIA.

We are a country of over 160 million people, our media houses have never reported the fact that 20million people in different states of the federation went about their work safely in a day, two or even for weeks. GUESS THAT IS NO NEWS!!!

ALAS! It’s happening and that is supposed to be in the news. People in their hundreds of thousands are getting saved, surrendering their lives to Christ. Those are the news CNN, BBC, BLOGS, and RADIO HOUSES etc. should publish.

But let some three people be killed in a remote village in Borno State that is when they will have a news about Nigeria being under terrorist attack.

Dear media house/ Personality, I dare you to flood your news with all the fantastic things happenings around.

And to you dear media reader, if you ever allow yourself to be trapped in the assumption that no good things are happening anywhere, YOU ARE ON A LONG THING. Because GOOD THINGS never cease. People are buying cars, building houses, graduating from high school and college, creating jobs, getting high paid employments, making the world a better place with their research in a small laboratory unknown to many around the globe.

And like my pastor will say, ‘something’s are not meant for your meditation’. So get the right things to meditate upon and never allow the bias media news to cloud your thoughts with negativity.

A word is enough for the wise.

I am Agboola Biyi Micheal a BLESSING to my GENERATION and an ASSET to NIGERIA.

But like you said, it's our responsibility to undo the wrong effects of their bad news
