BE INSPIRED

From Average to Excellence:
Shocking revelations of the life of a young Nigerian Youth (Part 2)

The earnest desire for greatness keeps driving dreamers and achievers to pinnacles of excellence and global relevance in life.

I present to you Olusola Amusan, a Nigerian Social Entrepreneur (Author, Corporate trainer, farmer, on-air personality, business coach and preacher) acknowledged as Africas Youngest Growth Consultant. A native of Modakeke,
a small town in Osun state, south west, Nigeria. Olusola Amusan called SA by friends and families alike loves traveling, swimming and seeing Sci-Fi movies.

At 12-years-old, Olusola founded the Young Elites Club. By the time he was 15-years, he had been planning seminars and campaigns and speaking to peers on personal discovery and future realities in Osogbo and Modakeke and Ile-Ife all in Osun State. As the years came by, his platform grew across other states and is still growing. In 2010 and 2011 he directly spoke to no less than 17,000 young people.

SA began his journey into greatness as far back as 13 years old when he volunteered for an NGO (Life Vanguards) in high school. But before then, he had joined Society for women and Aids in Africa, Nigeria (SWAAN) at age 9!

Though he did not know so much about social entrepreneurship at that time, he had to learn about contributing to society and helping others grow. The passion became stronger when he was asked to write an article on Youth Insecurity in Africa: the way forward
This led to the birth of his own organization, YOUTHs Be Secured Foundation, Africa (YSFA) in 2005. It later evolved into Secure Africa Initiative which is now the Olusola Amusan Company (OAC), with the central message of building SECURE people and business brands in Africa! Today, the company boast of having a training and growth consulting arm, a media arm with books/audio CDs and an Agro arm where farming is done on about 25 Hectares of land, involving arable crops like maize and vegetables, and we are expanding. The company have offices in Akure and Lagos, Nigeria.

Olusola is am an advocate of GROWTH, and a junky of personal development. He found out early that without a deliberate attempt to unlearn certain habits (responsible for backwardness and failure) and relearning habits (responsible for Success and Greatness), there is no guarantee for critical advancement.

Olusola today is all he is because of his unending commitment to Learning, learning, learning! Commitment to Mentor-ship programmes, lots of seminar, thinking time and making the best of friends. Truly, rising from a humble background to the pinnacle of excellence has proven that he is a beneficiary of Gods grace.

Olusola sometimes has been tagged a workaholic by people because of his lack of that backwardness attitude of procrastination which is a critical lesson any youth aspiring for greatness should imbibe.
Another important lesson from Olusolas life is what a mentor told him way back in 2008,
Reduce your life to one or two things

Olusola once remarked that Reducing my life to one or two things has helped me to focus my energy and avoid the temptation of trying to be everywhere doing everything.

Olusola is not an exception, he is like everyone. What makes the difference is that he live for a cause he is ready to die for and he is taking key responsibility for his existence.SA is forever indebted to all who have added value to him at every junction, parents, my first karate Instructor, teachers, mentors, clergies and friends.

Olusolas live constantly inspires me and a myriad of other upwardly mobile folks and I recall an experience when I approached SA as a men-tee to give an account of what I have been engaged in, he said and I quote; do more, you can do more, Biyi go ahead and do more.

That has always moved me from a point of inertia and set me on a high velocity always.
Therefore his life summarizes greatness and excellence embedded in doing more always, adding value always and keeping great company. SA is vigorously pursuing key greatness. You too can! Lets secure Africa.

Africa is grateful that you came, Nigeria is blessed with your presence, I love you sir and I wish you a happy birthday OLUSOLA AMUSAN

Lets go a step higher. YES WE CAN.
